Producer, screenwriter and film director Helen Fetisov told that the film will be created at the studio "Interfilm in co-production with France, the Netherlands, Armenia and Georgia to the 90 th anniversary of the cult film director Sergei Paradjanov. According to her, it will be a story of life of the famous filmmaker. Filming will take place in Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, and the final film will be shot in the Netherlands. Major role in the film will play a French actor and film director, winner of Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival 2010, Serge Avedikyan. As admitted Fetisov, the idea of ​​inviting this French actor gave a famous Ukrainian film director Roman Balayan, who will make the art director and creative producer of the project. In turn, Balayan said that he refused to be a direct producer of the film because he was intimately familiar with Parajanov that could prevent it from abstraction. Filming is scheduled to begin in September in Georgia, in November, filming continued in Ukraine, and to complete their planned spring 2012 in Rotterdam.
