The initiative of the statement of a holiday — day of a matrimony, love, fidelity in honor of orthodox Christian pair has sounded from Medvedevoj Svetlana Vladimirovny - spouses of the President of the Russian Federation. Fevronija and her husband Peter – the sample of family relations: understanding, support, piety. Many stories are written to their honor. Under legends, country daughter Fevronija has cured prince Peter of illnesses then they have got married. Having inherited reigning, boyars demanded Peter to leave the peasant. Without wishing to be separated, the family has left Murom. Struggle for a throne has begun, as a result boyars had to go begging to prince Peter and his wife Fevronii. On returning all was adjusted, pacified, thereby they have deserved honor and respect. After three hundreds years this pair has been canonized, patrons of a family. In Russia this day officially mark on July, 8th. Celebratory events pass in each city, each family. The family is one of the main values of mankind. This year the family of the President of the Russian Federation Medvedev Dmitry Anatolevicha has celebrated a family holiday in the city of Murom, having paid a tribute to historical events.
