Yuri Kara said it plans to make a film dedicated to Andrei Sakharov. This was the director told the Odessa Film Festival. The director said the film will focus primarily events 70 years - the struggle for the abolition of the death penalty and nuclear weapons, as well as awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Academician Award in 1975. However, Kara said that the film will include scenes from the creation of a hydrogen bomb. The project is currently in its infancy - it has no major roles of performers and producer. However, according to Kara, the screenplay was ready, and their interest in him expressed including foreign investors. He also noted that the script gave John Malkovich, who was present at the Odessa festival, to bring him to the project. "Initially I thought about the Russian actor, but Sakharov was what is called a" man of peace ", and I realized that in the West there are actors who have proven themselves intellectually and creatively.
