"White Media" launches mnogoseriyku "The price of life." Idealist Ilia Shagin excelled in scientific research, becoming a professor at the age of 35. A year later, married, but loses his wife during childbirth due to the negligence of doctors. After this, the hero's life upside: he loses his job and goes to prison for attempting to prove the guilt of doctors, and the child being adopted by unknown people. In prison Shagin gets a law degree and went out early to freedom, decides to change their profession. In his first case it helps the accountant Tatiana Mitrokhin doctors prove a mistake that led to the death of her son. Now that the protagonist is a loyal friend and helper in his difficult task. Director's chair trusted Vadim Ostrovsky, remove Lavronenko in the series "Made in USSR".
