Sergey Bodrov will be engaged in English-speaking "amphibian Person"

The company "Trikita Enterteynment" will shoot the new screen version of the fantastic novel of Alexander Belyaev of "amphibian People". Now Sergey Bodrov scripts a picture. Bodrov was engaged earlier in statement of films "Caucasian captive", "Mongol" and "A bear kiss", and also worked over plots of tapes "Beloved of mechanic Gavrilova" and "East-West". Russia, Italy and Germany will take part in creation of the new version of "amphibian Person". The new screen version will be English-speaking. The budget of the project is estimated at eight million US dollars. Information on the one who will be engaged in film statement while isn't present. It is thus supposed that shootings of a picture will begin at the end of 2012. The novel "Amphibian Person" was published for the first time in 1928. The first screen version of the book in 1961 put Vladimir Tchebotaryov and Gennady Kazansky. Leading roles in a picture executed Vladimir Korenev and Anastas Vertinskaya. In 1962 this film version of "amphibian Person" became the leader of the Soviet hire - according to available data, the film was watched by more than 65 million people.
